Tribal refugees in Tripura repatriated to Bangladesh

Tripura, June 09 (ANI): Authorities in Tripura sent back 90 Bangladeshi tribals who entered India illegally, seeking refuge, after ethnic clashes with non-tribal Muslims in their homeland last week. The repatriation took place through Gandacherra in Dhalai district of Tripura in presence of Indian and Bangladeshi officials and border guards of both the nations. The tribal people mainly consisting of Buddhists and Hindus had fled their homeland and entered into Indian territory after some "miscreants" allegedly attacked their homes in the Chittagong Hill Tracts (CHT), a tribal- dominated area in southeast Bangladesh that borders India and Myanmar. Sub-divisional Magistrate (SDM) Gandacherra, Bhaskar Das Gupta, said that the Bangladeshi nationals came to Tripura after facing ethnic violence back home. Jun 9, 2014

Maoist kills group commander following internal conflict

Khunti, June 05 (ANI): Maoists killed their one of the group's area commander Dubraj Manki along with his wife and one other in red corridor area of Jharkhand. Police said early investigations reveal that the rebels gunned down their fellow group members after an exchange of fire. According to the villagers, they had heard the gun being shot at night and in the morning they saw the dead bodies lying near the village road. Munde's post-mortem report submitted to police, did not die of heart attack: AIIMS

New Delhi, June 04 (ANI): The post mortem report of late Cabinet Minister Gopinath Munde was submitted to police on Wednesday by the All India Institute of Medical Science in New Delhi. The PRO of AIIMS, Dr Amit Gupta said that according to the report there were some major injuries in Munde's body, which caused his death.
