Prabhu Deva promotes his upcoming 'Action Jackson' in Chennai

Chennai, Sep 12 (ANI): Choreographer-turned-Director Prabhu Deva promoted his upcoming Bollywood action film 'Action Jackson' in Chennai city of Tamil Nadu. The film starring Ajay Devgan and Sonakshi Sinha, will see Devgan in a different role where he will dance as well. Devgan will sport a chiseled physique and the film promises high octane scenes. Film's music has been given by Himesh Reshammiya and is produced by Sardar Hassan, Gordhan Tanwani, Sunil Lulla and Urooj Zafar. Navy Chief RK Dhowan Commissions INS Sumitra in Chennai

Chennai, Sep 04 (ANI): Believed to be increasing the Navy's coastal surveillance, its largest offshore Patrol Vessel, INS Sumitra was formally commissioned by Chief of Naval Staff, Admiral Robin Dhowan on Thursday, in Chennai. The vessel has been built on in-house design of Goa Shipyard Ltd., a state-owned shipyard. Fourth in its class, the vessel will be based at Chennai under the operational control of Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Eastern Naval Command. Chief of Naval Staff, Admiral RK Dhowan said that the vessel will have an indigenous role to play in the patrolling of India's eastern seaboard and form an important part of the NOIC. The latest generation warship will have a displacement of about 2,200 tonnes. The ship is also designed to operate on Advanced Light Helicopter. Sep 4, 2014

Indian Air Force personnel arrested for leaking inside information to Pakistan

Pathankot, Sep 01 (ANI): Police arrested an Indian Air Force personnel in Pathankot city of Punjab for leaking inside information to Pakistan. Sunil Kumar was arrested at the Pathankot Air Force base for trying to sell India-related defense information to a Pakistani woman, Meena Raina. The cyber squad of the Pathankot air base monitored his movements via the internet with Raina and saved the conversations. After accumulating enough evidence against Kumar, Indian Air Force removed him from his post and handed him over to the police. Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Pathankot, Rakesh Koushal, said Kumar had shared a lot of information within a short span of time. Sep 1, 2014
