It's Rajnikanth's Birthday!

Bengaluru, Dec 12 (ANI): Fans in southern India have made elaborate arrangements to celebrate 64th birthday of the Tamil superstar Rajnikanth on Friday. And, this time they have double reason to celebrate the event as it coincides with the release of his movie "Lingaa". Lingaa is a Tamil action thriller which will see Rajnikanth playing double role, and has been paired opposite Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha. Fans thronged theatres to catch the first show of Lingaa and cut cakes to celebrate the birthday of the superstar. Streets have been decked up with huge cut-outs of Rajnikanth. Fans were seen pouring milk on his cut-outs to wish for his long life. His fans in the IT hub of Bangalore took out a huge rally to commemorate the day. More than 50 cars and 200 two wheelers took part in the rally. The celebrations, which began in midnight, are expected to continue throughout the day.
