Srinagar, Dec14 (ANI): Residents of Jammu and Kashmir held a protest on Sunday (December 14) for not being allowed to cast their vote after being asked to show their identification card which they lost in the recent floods. The fourth phase of polling is taking place in 18 constituencies of the state including the main cities of Srinagar and Jammu as residents brave the cold to come out and vote for change and development. Hundreds of people were killed and thousands of villages were devastated, including Srinagar, in September by the worst flooding in decades in the Kashmir valley. Meanwhile, a planning officer, Masood Ahmad Khan said that they are just following the instructions given by the election commission. The voters were showing the slips that they had been given before the elections and were very angry for not being allowed to vote. Dec 14, 2014
