Army defuses eight live bombs in Kashmir

R.S. Pura, July 26 (ANI): Eight live bombs were recovered in RS Pura area in Jammu and Kashmir. The explosives were old and recovered after villagers in the area found them and informed the bomb squad. Security personnel of Indian Army_s Bomb Disposal Squad, along with the police and paramilitary, Border Security Force (BSF), reached the spot to defuse the bombs. People living at the border areas have been suffering huge losses because of the exchange of fire between India and Pakistan as their livestock and houses have also been damaged. Jul 26, 2014

Villagers living along Indo-Pak border suffer amid cross border shelling

Jammu, July 20 (ANI): The residents living along Indo-Pak Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir said on Sunday that they have been facing hardships due to cross border shelling. Villagers suffer heavy losses as livestock die-off in cross border firing. Firing started on July 16 when Pakistani side targeted an Indian post in Arnia area of RS Pura sector in which a soldier died and three others were injured. Jul 20, 2014
