Rohtak gangrape and murder: Police inspects site, investigation underway

Rohtak, Feb 09 (ANI): Haryana Police is investigating the site of alleged gangrape and murder of a mentally challenged woman in Rohtak. DGP of Haryana, YP Singhal said that investigation of the case is underway and police will leave no stone unturned to nab the guilty. Maruti Suzuki sets up manufacturing plant in Gujarat

Ahmedabad, Jan 29 (ANI): Gujarat Chief Minister Anandiben Patel laid the foundation stone of Maruti Suzuki’s car manufacturing plant in Ahmedabad city. Japan's Suzuki group plans to set up three plants in Hansalpur village of Ahmedabad, which will exclusively supply to Maruti Suzuki India Limited. The plant is likely to start production in mid-2017. The foundation stone laying ceremony was held in the presence of Japanese ambassador to India, Takeshi Yagi, Chairman and CEO Suzuki Motor Corporation, Osamu Suzuki, and Chairman of Maruti Suzuki India, RC Bhargava. While addressing a gathering, Suzuki said that setting up of the manufacturing facility was beginning of a new era and also praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Make in India’ initiative. Police recover stolen antique idols in Himachal Pradesh

Kullu, Jan 24 (ANI): Police recovered antique idols of Hindu deities in Himachal Pradesh that were stolen last month and detained the suspect in Nepal. A 17th century idol of Lord Raghunath, worth billion of rupees, was stolen from a temple in Kullu district along with idols of Lord Ganesha, Hanuman, Narsangh and Salig Ram and some silver and gold ornaments. The main idol was concealed under a stone structure in the outskirts of Kullu. The other priceless artifacts were recovered from a local market.
