Govt to allocate Rs. 2,46,727 crores to defence sector

New Delhi, Feb 28 (ANI): Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, who is presenting the Union Budget for fiscal 2015-16 in the Lok Sabha said that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led government would allocate Rs. 2, 46, 727 crores in the defence sector. Jaitley said in his budget speech that the government is following a policy of transparency and quick decision-making in procurement to keep the defence forces prepared for any eventuality.
