Dharmanandan Diamonds Chairman Laljibhai Patel after winning the suit said that he will keep the suit in our office as a reminder of the noble cause he took part in. Reportedly, the monogrammed bandhgala is worth Rs 10 lakh. Modi had worn the suit during his meeting with the US President Barack Obama. New Delhi, Feb 17 (ANI): In a shocking case of intolerance, a Hindu temple was vandalized with hate speech in Washington. The incident happened when unidentified miscreants sprayed swastika and painted "Get Out" on one of the walls of the temple in the Seattle Metropolitan area. The incident shocked the community in the area, prompting authorities to launch an investigation. In a separate incident, a 28-year-old Indian-American, who was shot by unknown gunmen in his family-owned liquor shop in the US, has succumbed to his injuries. Amit Patel from Edison was shot and killed in New Jersey inside Roseway Liquors in Irvington on Sunday. Politicos have expressed outrage over the incidents. Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut on Tuesday said it is extremely important to maintain religious harmony in the U.S. Bharatiya Janata Party spokesperson Sambit Patra also said that the law should take its own course and the culprits should be punished. Indian origin boy shot dead in US, family seeks justice

Kheda, Feb 17 (ANI): An unknown assailant shot dead an Indian origin-boy, Amit Patel in New Jersey in the US. A native of Kheda district in Gujarat, Amit Patel, 27, was living in Irvington town of New Jersey for the past 15 years with his parents and wife and owned a liquor store there. His mother and wife, who were in India to attend a wedding, immediately left for US on receiving the news. At the time of the incident, Amit Patel was sitting at the counter of his shop, while his father was asleep. The sound of the shot woke him up who then called his friends seeking their help, but the victim died on the spot. Meanwhile, Amit Patels fathers best friend, Janak Gour demanded justice. Mumbai, Feb 15 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi said the legal professionals strengthened country's freedom movement, while addressing concluding Sesquicentennial Function of the Advocates Association of Western India (AAWI) in Mumbai city. Having a legacy of 150 years, said Modi, was of paramount importance and that people associated with AAWI could take pride in the fact that it produced lawyers like father of nation, Mahatma Gandhi and freedom fighter Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. Modi also inaugurated a Permanent Judicial Museum at Bombay High Court set up as part of sesquicentennial celebrations. He also emphasised upon the need to strengthen people's faith in the institution of judiciary. Taking pride in his government doing away with 1700 existing laws, he said drafts for new laws should be available online to bar association. Seventy-seven exotic turtles rescued in Vadodara

Vadodara, Feb 13 (ANI): Forest department in Vadodara city of Gujarat recovered 77 exotic turtles from a college student. Among the turtles recovered were endangered Star turtles and Singaporean Red Eared turtles. A case has been registered against Patel. A penalty of rupees 60,000 has been imposed on him. Saxena said the accused planned to smuggle the turtles in neighbouring Maharashtra state. Star turtles, which belong to 'very endangered species' category, are quite popular in exotic pet trade and are found in dry and scrub forests of India and neighbouring country Sri Lanka. Feb 13, 2015
