Mukesh Ambani announces Rs. 2,500 crore investment for digital infrastructure

Mohali, Dec 10 (ANI): Business tycoon, Mukesh Ambani has announced an investment of Rs. 2,500 crore for the setting up of digital infrastructure in Punjab. Ambani also announced that Reliance Foundation will partner with Punjab in promoting sports, specially basketball in schools. Ambani said this while attending the Progressive Punjab Summit in Mohali, along with global steel giant, Arcelormittal CEO, Lakshmi Mittal and Chief of Punjab, Prakash Singh Badal. Shiva, celebrity stylist, also launched a book showcasing the styles and trends of his various hairstyles. Itanagar, Dec 4 (ANI): At least 100 veterans and families of martyrs of the 1962 Chinese aggression were honoured at a three-day event organized by the Sanskar Bharati Purbottar in Itanagar. Chief Minister Nabam Tuki attended the valedictory function and felicitated family members of the martyrs along with Governor Lieutenant General (Retired) Nirbhay Sharma. The leaders praised the services rendered by Indian soldiers along the international borders. Tuki also announced the setting up of a new war memorial at Itanagar in memory of soldiers who had died in the 1962 war. The event was attended by 1962 war veteran Lt. Gen (Retd) V.M Patil, actor Mukesh Khanna and several renowned artists from across the country. Participants from the northeastern states also presented various colorful cultural programmes. Police arrest 3 hardcore Maoists in Jharkhand

Palamu, Nov 29 (ANI): Acting on a tip off, police arrested three hardcore Maoists in Palamu district of Jharkhand while they were meeting their families. The three Maoists were wanted in a number of heinous crime cases, including a blast at a mobile tower, attack on former Jharkhand minister's house, killings of policemen and people. The Deputy Superintendent of Police, Mukesh Kumar Mahato on Thursday said that the arrests were an achievement for the security forces.
