Sushma Swaraj calls on Tajikistan President ahead of SCO meet

Dushanbe, Sep 12 (ANI): Union Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj called on Tajikistan President Emomalii Rahmon in the capital city of Dushanbe on Friday (September 12) ahead of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) meet. Rahmon also met key advisor of Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Sartaz Aziz. The SCO, held between September 11and 12, aims to boost cooperation in three major fields of economy, security and people-to-people exchanges. India, Iran, Pakistan and Mongolia are due to become full participating members of the summit, thereby upgrading their observer member status. This is the 14th annual meeting of the SCO, which will have leaders from its six full-member countries.

Tajikistan, Sep 11 (ANI): Foreign minister, Sushma Swaraj, arrived in Dushanbe, the capital city of Tajikistan to attend the summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO). The summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) aims at boosting cooperation in the three major fields of economy, security and people-to-people exchanges. Tajikistan is hosting the summit of the SCO between September 11 -12 in capital Dushanbe, security being the priority for the 13th annual summit for all member countries. India, Iran, Pakistan and Mongolia are due to become full participating members of the summit, thereby upgrading their observer member status.

Ruhelkhand University helps in carrying forward tradition of communal harmony

The Indo-Iranian Studies Centre was established in university in the year 2012. Here students belonging to Muslim, Hindu and even Christian community come together to study the Persian language. Centers like Indo-Iranian Studies help people to learn the cultural practices and language of each other, enabling them to understand the meaning of a peaceful life.
