Archaeologists unearth ancient mummy in Peru

Archaeologists in Peru have unearthed a 4,500-year-old mummy of a noble woman that experts believe could provide new insights into the ancient Caral civilisation. Unesco launches new project to rehabilitate Kathmandu Valley

Unesco Director-General Irina Bokova held a news conference in Nepals capital Kathmandu on 19 April, after a two-day visit to the country devastated by a powerful earthquake two years ago.
