Congress releases manifesto for Delhi polls, promises cheaper power

New Delhi, Jan 23 (ANI): Congress party on Friday released its manifesto for the upcoming polls in Delhi. DPCC Chief Arvinder Singh Lovely and senior leaders Ajay Maken and PC Chacko were also present there. Lovely said that Congress has made only those promises in the manifesto which it can fulfil. He added that if Congress comes to power it will reduce the rates for electricity supply to the residents of Delhi. Political leaders file nomination papers for Delhi Assembly Polls

New Delhi, Jan 21 (ANI): Political leaders from Congress and BJP on Wednesday filed their nomination papers for Delhi Assembly polls. Today is the last day for filing the nomination papers for the polls and the scrutiny of nominations papers would be done on January 22 while the last date for withdrawal of candidatures is January 24. Congress leader Ajay Maken filed his papers and said that he is ready for a debate with the AAP and BJP Candidates. Party's Kiran Walia also expressed confidence in the performance of Congress. New Delhi, Jan 21 (ANI): Before filing his nomination papers from Sadar Bazar constituency, Congress leader Ajay Maken said that AAP and BJP will surely merge in future. He said that BJP’s CM Candidate Kiran Bedi and AAP Chief Arvind Kejriwal started their journey from Anna Hazare’s protest and they will ultimately join hands together. He said that the two started with the name of corruption but now no one is talking about the same.
