Karachi, Sep 30 (ANI): Pakistan maritime authorities arrested 25 Indian fishermen and took into custody their four boats for illegal fishing in the country's territorial waters according to a police official. The arrest came after Pakistan detained 29 Indian fishermen on September 27, making a total number of detainees to 54 in two days. The arrested fishermen were handed over to police in the southern port city of Karachi for necessary legal action. Sep 30, 2014

Pakistan arrests 29 Indian fishermen for trespassing its waters

Karachi, Sep 28 (ANI): Pakistan maritime authorities arrested twenty nine Indian fishermen and took into custody their five boats for illegal fishing in the country's territorial waters, according to a police official. The arrested fishermen were handed over to police in the port city of Karachi for necessary legal action. According to maritime security agency, the fishermen were almost 10 kilometres inside Pakistan territorial waters when they were detained. In May Pakistan had freed 151 Indian fishermen ahead of Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif's visit to India to attend Prime Minister Narendra Modi's swearing-in ceremony. Sep 28, 2014
