New Delhi, Mar 02 (ANI): The newly appointed DPCC President, Ajay Maken said on Monday that he held AAP Chief Arvind Kejriwal highly as he is the one to start fight against corruption but added that Kejriwal should start working on his promises rather than looking for excuses for the party's non-performance. He also said that his priority would be to strengthen the party in Delhi and also to act as a vigilant Opposition. New Delhi, March 02 (ANI): Congress on Monday appointed Ajay Maken, who led the Congress party in the worst ever defeat in Delhi Assembly elections, as the Delhi Congress Pradesh Committee (DPCC) chief. The rejig was in continuation to Rahul Gandhi's campaign of revamping the beleaguered party. Speculations are rife that Rahul's sister Priyanka Gandhi will soon join active politics by accepting a general secretary post in the Congress party. This was, however, denied by Priyanka's office. BJP, Congress react to reports of Ajay Maken to be DPCC Chief replacing Lovely

New Delhi, Mar 01 (ANI): BJP and Congress leaders on Sunday reacted over reports of Ajay Maken to be elected as DPCC Chief replacing Arvinder Singh Lovely. BJP leader Vijay Sonkar Shastri said that there is turmoil within Congress after its defeat in the Delhi Polls. He added that no matter what Congress does to regain its position it will not be able to win peoples' hearts. Meanwhile Congress leader JP Aggarwal said that it is a decision of the party leadership about whom to choose as State Chief.
