Industrialists say India marching with vision to become global power

Gandhinagar, Jan 11 (ANI): Indian industrialists on Sunday said that the country was moving ahead with a vision of elevating its status and role in global community and lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi initiatives and boost investments in Gujarat. World leaders and delegates had gathered at investment summit, 'Vibrant Gujarat', promoted by Modi and held in the city of Gandhinagar. Mukesh Ambani, India's richest man with a fortune estimated at $19.7 billion, praised Modi's leadership. Ambani said his Reliance Industries conglomerate would invest 1 trillion rupees ($16 billion) in Gujarat over the next 12 to 18 months. JD (U) disqualifies four MLAs for anti party activities, leaders allege unlawful proceedings

Patna, Dec 27 (ANI): Four JD (U) MLAs have been disqualified for indulging in ‘anti-party activities’ on Saturday. The disqualified Bihar MLAs are Ajit Kumar who was elected from Kanti, Suresh Chanchal from Sakra, Poonam Devi from Deegha and Raju Kumar Singh from Sohebganj. The order was passed by Bihar Legislative Assembly Speaker Uday Narayan Chaudhary while citing anti-defection law. The MLAs, however, alleged that the proceedings were unlawful and that they will go to higher courts and appeal. Dec 27, 2014
