Boko Haram releases 21 kidnapped Chibok girls to Nigerian Government

21 of the more than 200 girls who were kidknapped in 2014 by Boko Haram have been released following a deal brokered by the International Red Cross and the Swiss government. Baby humpback whale saves stranded mother off Brisbane Coast

A humpback whale calf saved its mother’s life after she became stranded on a sandbank. The whale had been stuck in shallow waters and could not move.The calf repeatedly nudged its mother in an attempt to free her. Luckily the whale could free itself after 40 minutes.The Parks and Wildlife service said it had a boat trailing the whales to ensure they could now make it out of the shallow waters and into the sea.
