South Korea president denies being part of religious cult

South Korean President Park Geun-hye has apologised for the political scandal she is alleged to have caused. Park is accused of letting close friend Choi Soon-sil influence state affairs. Choi was arrested on Monday but denies the allegations. Chois late father, Choi Tae-min, was leader of a religious sect and close to Park’s father, the late president Park Chung-hee. Local media has accused Park Geun-hye of taking part in sect rituals which she denied. Nov 4, 2016

A panda pounced on a man that jumped into his enclosure in Nanching City, China. The man climbed into the pandas pen to impress some girls who were with him at the zoo. Mei Ling the panda pounced on the man, dragged him to the ground and then sat on top of him so he couldnt go anywhere. The man eventually got free and was uninjured in the encounter. Oct 31, 2016
