It Happens: Three- day painting exhibition brings cheer to specially-abled

Siliguri, July 11 (ANI): Anubhab, a voluntary organisation in eastern India organised a three- day painting- cum- sale exhibition to bring cheer to the specially- abled. A specially- abled boy, Pradip Nag, attending the programme, said that he was happy to be there. The organisers will be showcasing more than 30 paintings by an eminent painter, Binit Sinha, from Kolkata who told the reporter that it is the duty of society to look after the specially- abled people. The organisation was started in 1998 and since then it has devoted voluntary service in support of Round Table India, 232. Chennai, July 09 (ANI): Family members of abducted Indian aid worker, Alexis Prem Kumar in Herat province in Afghanistan, submitted a petition to the chief minister of Tamil Nadu J Jayalalithaa, on Wednesday, seeking her assistance in rescuing Kumar. Indian Ambassador to Afghanistan, Amar Sinha on June 16 had said that the aid worker abducted in Herat was safe and the government was working towards his release. Railway Minister Sadananda Gowda reaches Parliament, to present rail budget soon

New Delhi, July 8 (ANI): Railway Minister DV Sadananda Gowda reached Parliament all set to present his maiden rail budget on Tuesday. Gowda, accompanied by Minister of States for Railways, Manoj Sinha, left Rail Bhavan following a BJP Parliamentary meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other BJP leaders. Earlier, Gowda left his home at 9 am to take part in the BJP Parliamentary board meeting after which he reached Rail Bhavan. Gowda will present his maiden Rail Budget at 12 noon in Lok Sabha. The Railway Minister tweeted saying, _Going to present my maiden budget as a atRailMinIndia minister today. Three- day painting exhibition brings cheer to specially-abled in Siliguri

Siliguri, July 05 (ANI): Anubhab, a voluntary organisation in Siliguri organised a three- day painting- cum- sale exhibition from July 04 to bring cheer to the specially- abled. The organizers will be showcasing more than 30 paintings by an eminent painter, Binit Sinha, from Kolkata who told the reporter that it is the duty of society to look after the specially- abled people. The Secretary of Anubhab, Pradip Nag, said the raised funds would be used to help the children. It is expected that the specially- abled inmates of the centre will get a unique opportunity to express their aims, desires and fancies through this event and give them a chance to interact with people and help society understand them better.
