New Delhi, Oct 18 (ANI): Lyricist Santosh Anand on Saturday alleged involvement of powerful people and big wigs in his son, Sankalp Anand’s suicide case. He said that he has lost both son and daughter-in-law and demanded CBI enquiry and security for his family members. He also said that UP government will not take action in the case intentionally and also requested Prime Minsietr Narendra Modi to take stock of the situation and look into the case. Sankalp (38) and his wife Nandini Anand (34), who was based in Delhi jumped in front of a moving train and died on the spot while their daughter suffered serious injuries and has been admitted to a hospital. Black Money case: Congress targets Modi govt for its reluctance to disclose names

New Delhi, Oct 17 (ANI): The Congress on Friday targeted the Narendra Modi government for its double standards on Black money case. Citing bilateral double taxation avoidance treaties, the Centre today filed an application in the Supreme Court saying it cannot disclose the details of foreign accounts held abroad by Indians. The issue of black money has reverberated in public space for a very long time. The BJP when in the opposition repeatedly exchanged fire with the Congress for its inability to bring back black money stashed away in various tax havens, specially in Swiss banks. Lyricist Santosh Anand's son and daughter in law commit suicide

Mathura/ New Delhi, Oct 17 (ANI): Son and daughter-in-law of renowned Indian lyricist Santosh Anand jumped in front of a moving train in Mathura and committed suicide. Sankalp Anand and his wife Nandini died on spot, however, their four-year-old daughter, Garima, who was also made to jump, survived with serious injuries. She was immediately rushed to a hospital. Sankalp was a resident of Delhi and a lecturer in Jayaprakash Narayan National Institute of Criminology and Forensic Science since 2011. He added that an eight-page-long suicide note was recovered from the car. As per media reports, they committed suicide due to financial problems. There are also allegations that the note had names of some staff members of the institute where Anand taught. However, the present director of the institute, Reena Mitra, declined any such allegation. Oct 17, 2014
