Regional parties accuse Modi government of political turmoil in Bihar

Patna, Feb 15 (ANI): Janata Dal United (JD-U) and its alliance Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), on Sunday blamed Narendra Modi-led federal government for political tension in Bihar. During a joint news conference, JD-U, RJD, Congress party and Communist Party of India (CPI), accused Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for political uncertainty in Bihar. A RJD leader, Ramchandra Purve, said that earlier of transfer of powers was smooth in Bihar and hit out at BJP alleging it for creating tension. However, BJP refuted the allegations. Feb 15, 2015

Patna, Feb 08 (ANI): JD (U) and RJD leaders on Sunday met Bihar governor Keshari Nath Tripathi over political crisis facing the state today. The parties appealed the governor to sack Jitan Ram Manjhi as he lacks majority and appoint Nitish Kumar as the new chief minister. Bihar JD (U) President Bashishtha Narayan Singh sai dtaht Manjhi is doing all this on order of BJP. Mumbai hosts fund-raising marathon to spread awareness about cardiac diseases

Mumbai, Feb 8 (ANI): Hundreds of children took part in a fund-raising marathon in Mumbai on Sunday spread awareness about cardiac diseases. ‘Little Hearts Marathon’ is an initiative of ‘Bai Jerabai Wadia Hospital for Children’ in Mumbai to raise funds for poor children unable to meet the exorbitant hospital expenses. The second edition of the three-kilometer marathon drew several known personalities, including the head of youth wing of regional political party, Yuva Sena, Aditya Thackeray, Bollywood actor Shreyas Talpade and businessman Ness Wadia.
