Theresa May: A running commentary on EU talks would not be right

UK Prime Minister Theresa May ruled out giving a running commentary on Brexit negotiations with the EU, she told MPs at Prime Minsters Questions on 7 September. The Prime Minster was assertive on the stance after Brexit Secretary David Davis suggested the UK staying in the single market was improbable. The Saudi-led bombing campaign against Yemen and the UKs involvement

Theresa May has reportedly raised concerns over the situation in Yemen as Saudi Arabia continues its bombing campaign targeting Houthi rebels. But Human Rights Watch and Amnesty International have documented more than 70 unlawful strikes, thousands of civilians have been killed and 80% of Yemen are in need of aid. The United Kingdom is the second biggest arms dealer in the world and has licensed £3.3 billion worth of arms to Saudi Arabia since the bombing began.With this evidence emerging there are increasing calls for Britain to stop selling arms to Saudi Arabia. South Koreas dog meat trade to be debated in UK parliament

British MPs are set to discuss South Koreas dog-meat factory farms in a Westminster Hall debate on 12 September. The first Parliament debate on Asias dog meat trade was held in November 2015, however, South Korea was not a focus, despite the fact that it is the only country in Asia that breeds dogs specifically for human consumption.
