Cuba’s former communist leader Fidel Castro has died, aged 90.In 1959 Castro led revolutionary forces to successfully overthrow dictator Fulgencio Batista.He became Cuba’s prime minister from 1959 to 1976 and its president from 1976 to 2008.He will be cremated on Saturday, according to his brother and successor Raul Castro.
