Mass wedding in Allahabad gives one overjoyed day to poor

Allahabad, Feb 25 (ANI): At least 28 couples tied wedding knot in Prerna Parmarth Ashram of Allahabad in a mass wedding ceremony. Overjoyed couples, who were coming from economically and socially weak families, were happy at the series of events. The ‘baraat’ to the ashram was let by different vehicles, elephants and horses and thousands of people gathered to bless the newly-weds. Social Activist Anurag Verma said that the Ashram has already organized marriages for over 1000 couples from all religions and communities till date. Verma said that keeping in view the financial condition of the couples, they are provided with the basic necessities of daily life by the Ashram. Feb 25, 2014
