Politicos condemn Manjhi's 'chopping doctor's hands remark' even as JD (U) says statement misinterpr

New Delhi/ Patna, Oct 18 (ANI): Political leaders on Saturday condemned Bihar Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi's remark wherein he said that he will cop the hands of lax doctors playing with lives of poor patients. BJP leader Sambit Patra said that language used by Bihar CM is not acceptable and even undemocratic. Congress leader Rashid Alvi and PC Chacko said that such language is against the India's democratic structure and talks of mindset of Bihar CM. NCP leader Tariq Anwar said that if doctors are not doing their duty, there are laws to punish them but statements like these are unfortunate. RJD leader Manoj Jha said that the ideas are positive but the way of expressing the same is totally undemocratic. Meanwhile, JD (U) leader Ali Anwar came forward in defence of Manjhi and said that his statement is misinterpreted. Oct 18, 2014
