Memorial in Pune showcases golden era of Bollywood

Pune, May 29 (ANI): A memorial dedicated to veteran Bollywood director Raj Kapoor established in Pune showcased golden era of Hindi cinema. The memorial has been built at the campus of MAEER's MIT Group of Institutions at Loni Kalbhor of Pune in Maharashtra to educate people about Bollywood and its veteran actors. The memorial projects golden era of Indian film industry and houses statues of Raj Kapoor, along with other actors like Dilip Kumar, Dev Anand, Pran and others. Kejriwal agrees to furnish personal bond, his petition to be heard on 31st Jul

New Delhi, May 27 (ANI): Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday has agreed to furnish the personal bond as suggested by the Court in the hearing regarding Nitin Gadkari’s defamation case. Kejriwal’s lawyer Prashant Bhushan stated that the High Court has agreed to hear his petition on 31st July and in the mean time proposed him to furnish the bond and get released from jail. He also said that Kejriwal agreed to furnish the bond pending the final outcome of the case. Meanwhile, Gadkari’s lawyer Pinky Anand said that Kejriwal did not intend to stay in jail and had to furnish the bond as he had no choice. She added that the Court will hear his petition on July 31. Gadkari defamation case: Kejriwal jailed for 14 days, next hearing on June 6

New Delhi, May 23 (ANI): Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Convener Arvind Kejriwal has been sent to 14-day judicial custody in the defamation case filed by senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Nitin Gadkari. Kejriwal was sent to Tihar Jail after he refused to pay a personal bond as directed by the court. The next hearing is on June 6. He has already spent two nights in judicial custody after he refused to pay the personal bond saying it was against AAP's principles. Success party of two National Award winning films

Mumbai, May 14 (ANI): The cast and crew of India's National Award winning films 'Shahid' and 'Ship of Theseus' came together to celebrate the success of their movie in entertainment capital Mumbai. Director of Bollywood film 'Shahid', Hansal Mehta, filmmaker Kiran Rao and Chief of Disney UTV movies, Siddharth Roy Kapur were also present during the celebrations. Both the movies received the National Film Awards in May. Hansal Mehta received the Best Director award for 'Shahid' and Raj Kumar Rao won the Best Actor for the same film. 'Ship of Theseus' won the award for Best Feature Film. Kiran Rao, wife of Bollywood actor Aamir Khan, was involved with the promotion of indie film 'Ship of Theseus' for Indian cinema that has been directed by Anand Gandhi.
