His statement came when senior Congress leader Anand Sharma raised the issue of tweet messages against Army Chief-designate Suhag by Gen (Retd) VK Singh. Jaitley said in Rajya Sabha that the previous UPA government had made the appointment few weeks ago and it is a practice that some issues should be kept outside the "realm of inter-party politics".
