A 6.5 magnitude earthquake struck the Indonesian province of Aceh on 7 December, killing dozens of people. Many are feared to be trapped under debris as several buildings collapsed following the massive quake. No tsunami warning was issued by the country’s meteorological department. Drone footage of Amatrice after Italy suffers worst earthquake in 36 years

Italy has been hit by another earthquake just four days after it suffered two quakes of 5.5 and 6.1 magnitude. The latest shock is said to be the strongest Italy has suffered in 36 years, and comes just months after 300 people were killed in a 6.2 magnitude quake back in August.
