New Delhi, Oct 27 (ANI): Congress on Sunday condemned the serial blasts that took place ahead of BJP's Hunkar rally on Sunday in Patna and said that there has been a big security lapse. At least five people were killed and more than 50 were injured when a series of blasts rocked Patna. According to reports, the first explosion took place at a platform in Patna railway station and another bomb that was found in a toilet was defused.

Patna, Oct 27 (ANI): A series of crude bomb exploded near Gandhi Maidan in Patna, where Gujarat Chief Minister and BJP prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi was scheduled to address a rally on Sunday, killing 1 and leaving at least 16 injured. The blast followed the first explosion which took place at the city’s railway station, hours ahead of Modi’s 'Hunkar' rally in the city. A total of five low-intensity bomb explosions took place in Patna most of them at Gandhi Maidan. The Bihar police and the bomb disposal squad (BDS) rushed to the spot.

Samba, Oct 25 (ANI): Massive exchange of fire between Indian and Pakistan troops overnight across the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir instilled fear in the minds of border villagers forcing thousands to abandon their homes.
