BSF organizes Diwali fair

Siliguri/Coimbatore, Nov 02 (ANI): A Diwali fair was organised by the Border Security Force (BSF) 66 Battalion North Bengal Frontier at its headquarter Kadamtala in West Bengal to mark the beginning of festivities of the Hindu festival of lights. The fair was being o rganised with an aim of providing mental relaxation and entertainment to the troops and their families. Apart from different types of food stalls, the fair also had various games, cultural dance performances and a fashion show to attract and entertain a huge number of crowd. Meanwhile, in an effort to create communal harmony, people in Coimbatore also gathered to celebrate Diwali as they lit lamps at a temple and shared sweets with each other. Nov 2, 2013
