Mumbai, Dec 08 (ANI): Models flounced down the Mumbai's runway with stylish hairdos. Bollywood celebrities attended the special event of honoring a renowned Bollywood stylist, Shiva. Tinsel villa celebrated the 25th anniversary of a hair salon established by a renowned stylist, Shiva, in showbiz capital, Mumbai recently. The ramp sizzled with models wearing funky colored wigs and unique hairstyles. Bollywood director, Mustan Burmawalla, said Shiva started his career from a scratch and reached the Bollywood industry, which was a huge achievement. Shiva, celebrity stylist, also launched a book showcasing the styles and trends of his various hairstyles. Well-Known Bollywood filmmaker, Madhur Bhandarkar, said it was good to see that people follow stylish trends and have become fashion conscious. Famed Bollywood directors like Bhandarkar and Abbas-Mustan and actors like Neil Nitin Mukesh and Mugdha Godse graced the occasion. Dec 8, 2013

The soldiers practiced field firing using weapons of the other country to combat militancy and tested their physical endurance during the obstacle course by indulging in training exercises. President calls for improving quality of technical education

New Delhi Nov 7 (ANI): President Pranab Mukherjee, met the directors of the National Institutes of Technology (NITs) in New Delhi on Thursday and also discussed various steps to improve the quality of technical education and faculty development in NITs to bring them at par with the top technical institutions of the world. Mukherjee is hosting a two- day Conference of Directors of National Institutes of Technology (NITs). Around 30 directors are participating in the conference which is being organised for the first time to upgrade the level of technical education in India. The delegates would also discuss steps for inter-linkages of NITs with the industry so that the best of the students’ capabilities can be harnessed and used by professionals as soon as they join the industry. SC orders Sahara Group to hand over Rs.20, 000 crores worth of property title deeds

New Delhi, Oct 29 (ANI): The Sahara Group has been ordered by the Supreme Court to hand over title deeds of properties worth Rs.20,000 crore to the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) after hearing three contempt of court petitions filed by SEBI against the group's owner Subrata Roy. An apex court bench headed by Justices K. S. Radhakrishnan and J. S. Khehar warned Roy that he would not be permitted to go abroad till the title deeds of the properties are handed over. The court has given Roy three weeks to comply with its latest order. The case against Roy relates to him failing to deposit money belonging to Sahara investors' with the SEBI. The contempt petitions filed by SEBI are related to Sahara firms-Sahara India Real Estate Corp Ltd (SIREC) and Sahara India Housing Investment Corp Ltd (SHIC) - and their directors. Oct 29, 2013
