Kumar said that Lalu Prasad Yadav and Mulayam Singh Yadav are trusted partners and they will join JD (U) in meeting the President regarding government formation in Bihar. LJP Chief Ram Vilas Paswan on Bihar's political crisis

Patna, Feb 8 (ANI): Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) chief and Union Minister Ram Vilas Paswan on Sunday reacted on the ongoing political tussle in Bihar. Paswan said that the JD (U) had made Manjhi a chief minister sans any power and therefore his rebellion was justified. Nitish, who was elected as the leader of JD (U) legislature party at a party meeting held in Patna yesterday, is expected to stake claim to form a new government in the state soon. On Saturday evening, Manjhi called a meeting of the state cabinet, which authorized the Chief Minister to recommend the dissolution of Bihar Assembly. But this move was strongly opposed by 20 ministers loyal to former CM Nitish Kumar. Manjhi claimed he is authorized to take a decision on dissolution of the assembly. New Delhi, Feb 08 (ANI): JD (U) leader Mahachandra Prasad said on Sunday that the ongoing crisis regarding government in Bihar is because of the disturbance in assembly and division of opinion of ministers. Prasad said that the Jitan Ram Manjhi government has asked for some time from the Governor to extend the Cabinet. He also said that the party may split if division of opinion continues. New Delhi, Feb 07 (ANI): After Bihar Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi proposed the dissolution of Bihar Legislative Assembly, JD (U) legislators sacked Manjhi and elected former chief minister Nitish Kumar as party leader in Assembly. Kumar will soon return as Chief Minister of the state as the JD (U) legislative party elected him as the leader. The meeting was attended by 97 MLAs. After dismissing two ministers from his rival camp, Manjhi had called a meeting of his cabinet and thereafter proposed dissolution of Bihar Assembly. Bihar CM appeals governor to dissolve state assembly

New Delhi, Feb 07 (ANI): Bihar Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi on Saturday appealed Governor Keshari Nath Tripathi for dissolution of the state assembly in wake of the political deadlock in the state. Earlier in the day, Manjhi met his predecessor Nitish Kumar at the latter's residence. This meeting came at a time when speculations are rife that Manjhi will be sacked by the Janata Dal (United), with a view of reinstating Nitish Kumar to the top post. Earlier, Manjhi had sent a recommendation to Governor Keshari Nath Tripathi to sack two state cabinet ministers, Lallan Singh and P. K. Shahi, who are reportedly close to Nitish Kumar and also supporting the removal of Manjhi from his chief ministerial post.
