Harsh Vardhan's remark on sex education draws varied reactions

New Delhi, June 27 (ANI): Health Minister Harsh Vardhan's remark on sex education pour in varied reactions after he said that instead of using condoms, people should use moral values and demanded ban on sexual education in schools. BJP leader Prabhat Jha and DUSU President Aman Awana supported the stance and said that sex education is not necessary. Congress leader Manish Tewari condemned the same and said that the thought process comes from some other generation and is backward. Rani Mukerji launches first look of 'Mardaani'

Mumbai, June 25 (ANI): Bollywood actress Rani Mukerji who is all set to make her much-awaited comeback with a Yash Raj film launched the first look of her upcoming film Mardaani in Mumbai. The movie, which deals with the issue of child sex trafficking, will be her first post marriage film. The actress reportedly underwent an extensive training session to learn different techniques of Krav Maga, an Israeli martial art and self-defence system, as she is portraying the character of a strong female cop in the film. Mukerji, who played a courageous journalist in her last 'No One Killed Jessica' in 2011, believes in sending across a strong message through her all films. Teachers in favour of FYUP enters second day of hunger strike

New Delhi, June 25 (ANI): The teachers in favour of the Four-year Undergraduate Programme (FYUP) entered the second day of their hunger strike on Wednesday following the continued tussle between the university and the University Grants Commission (UGC). Former DUTA President Aditya Narayan Mishra alleged that the HRD Ministry and the UGC are playing a game of coercion and trying to make the colleges into autonomous bodies. The University VC had resigned on Tuesday, the reports of which were negated by the Academic Council. The Council member Rajesh Jha said that the there should be rule of law and not the rule of mob. New Delhi, June 18 (ANI): Actor Aditya Pancholi on Wednesday said he wanted the investigation over the death of actress Jiah Khan to be over soon and added that a SIT has been formed to probe the case. Aditya's son Suraj Pancholi had been arrested on the charge of abetting Khan's suicide, and had later been granted bail. The mother of the Bollywood actress, Rabiya Khan, has called on the new Indian Government to re-investigate her daughter's death, which took place last year, alleging that she had been murdered. SC rejects CAB's early listing plea against Srinivasan becoming ICC Chief

The Court has rejected the plea for the second time in two weeks.
