Residents said that after seeing the situation where police and media persons have been injured, they decided to offer help. Barwala, Nov 19 (ANI): Haryana Police on Wednesday arrested Rampal's brother Purshottam Das from Satlok Ashram. According to the media reports, Das has been taken by the police for interrogation. He was arrested while he was reportedly trying to flee from the ashram. Earlier in the day, dead bodies of four women were recovered from Rampal's ashram and sent to hospital for postmortem. Rampal's supporters had opened fire on police personnel on Tuesday as they moved ahead to arrest him from his ashram in Hisar. Chandigarh, Nov 18 (ANI): Haryana DGP SN Vashisht on Tuesday said that two police constables and mediapersons were injured in the clash between police and Sant Rampal's supporters in Hisar. The Haryana police and Sant Rampal's followers clashed outside the godman's Satlok Ashram in Hisar's Barwala town as the cops tried to arrest him. Vashisht said that the police is trying to handle the case with much sensitivity and that proper actions will be taken against the individual police officer who attacked the mediaperson. Meanwhile, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has sought a report on the attack on journalists. The police fired tear gas, used batons and water cannons to disperse Rampal's followers gathered outside the ashram to prevent his arrest and used bulldozers to break through the wall of the ashram, in which several of the disciples have been injured, according to reports.
