Pakistan rejects India's conditions on dialogue process

Islamabad, Nov 07 (ANI): Pakistan rejected Indian Defence Minister's tough stance on dialogue, saying it does not accept conditions on composite dialogue with the arch rival. Answering a question about Arun Jaitley's statement that Pakistan had to decide whether they want to be in talks with the Indian government or the separatists, foreign ministry spokesperson Tasneem Aslam said dialogue with India is not a favour, but a necessity for peace and development in South Asia. A day earlier, Jaitley had drawn a "red line" and said Pakistan had to reconsider whether it wanted to speak to the Government of India or "to those who want to break India." Aslam said All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) leaders were not separatists, but freedom fighters who are carrying out their movement from an occupied territory. Nov 7, 2014

Reactions flow on Pentagon report saying Pak doing proxy war against India

New Delhi, Nov 05 (ANI): The Pentagon Report submitted in the US states that Pakistan is using proxy wars to counter Indian Army has drawn reactions. Congress leader Rashid Alvi said that this is a well known fact that Pakistan cannot fight a direct war with India which is why it is using unfair means to counter the Army. BJP leader GVL Narasimha Rao said that Pakistan will lose the support of any other country if it continues to encourage militant activities in the country. Former Foreign Secretary of India Shyam Saran said that the report has not declared anything new.
