Fatal blaze destroys refugee camp in Lebanon

A big fire has destroyed large parts of a Syrian refugee camp in the Bekaa Valley in Lebanon. Local news reports one child was killed and several other people injured. Thick black smoke rose from the blaze, destroying more than 100 tents. The cause of the fire is not yet known. At least one million Syrian refugees fled to Lebanon, often living in informal settlements. Jul 2, 2017
