Nita Ambani performs Ganga Aarti in Varanasi on birthday

Varanasi, Nov 02 (ANI): Reliance Industries chief and billionaire Mukesh Ambani's wife, Nita Ambani celebrated her 51st birthday in Prime Minister Narendra Modi's constituency, Varanasi. Nita Ambani is also the Founder and Chairperson of the Reliance Foundation, which is the philanthropic arm of Reliance Industries. As a part of the celebrations, Ambanis also attended a special prayer service (religious rituals) at Kashi Vishwanath temple in the holy city. Nita Ambani also performed the Ganga Aarti at the bank of River Ganges. Highlight of the day the famous ritual of lights 'Aarti' at the Dashashwamedh bank of river Ganges, witnessed by the Ambanis and the guests seated in four houseboats, which were especially decked up for the occasion. PM Modi inaugurates Sir HN Reliance Foundation Hospital

Mumbai, Oct 25 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday inaugurated the Sir HN Reliance Foundation Hospital in Mumbai. The hospital, in its 90th year, has been completely rebuilt by Reliance Foundation, into a modern 19-storey tower with two heritage wings. The foundation is headed by Nita Ambani. For the first time, the hospital has collaboration with America's most renowned institutes like Johns Hopkins, MD Anderson Cancer Centre, Massachusetts General Hospital and University of Southern California. The hospital will reserve a fifth of its capacity for the underprivileged and provide 10 percent beds for free to the needy and another 10 percent at subsidised rates. Celebrities like Amitabh Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, ShahRukh Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Aamir Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor and Sachin Tendulkar among many others were also present during the inauguration. Mumbai, Oct 08 (ANI): Reliance Group Chairman Anil Ambani, on Wednesday took up Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Clean India’ challenge and swept streets in country’s financial capital of Mumbai to mark his participation. Prime Minister Modi kicked-off his ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan’ or ‘Clean India Mission’ on birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi on October 02. Modi had called up actors Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, Kamal Hassan, actress Priyanka Chopra, cricketing legend Sachin Tendulkar, yoga guru Ramdev, Congress party lawmaker Shashi Tharoor and Ambani to take up the drive.
