Bill Murray’s Rock the Kasbah tops biggest movie flops of 2015

Forbes has released a list of this years biggest movie flops, and leading the pack was Bill Murrays critically panned comedy Rock the Kasbah. The film, which follows a recording agent who takes his client and business to Afghanistan, grossed $2.9m (£1.92m) on an estimated $15m production budget. At number two, Sean Penns The Gunman failed to bring in the crowds in March. With a $40m budget, it only collected $10.7m in box office receipts. Nov 25, 2015

Myanmar: Hopes fade as 100 people still missing after mine landslide

Video footage taken on Sunday (22 November) evening showed workers using cranes to search for victims of a landslide near a jade mine in northern Myanmar. Hopes were fading on Monday (23 November) that any of the 100 people still missing would be found alive two days after the landslide smashed into a makeshift settlement, burying mine workers as they slept. Rescue workers had recovered 104 bodies when the search was suspended on Sunday night, state newspaper the Global New Light of Myanmar reported on Monday. Nov 23, 2015
