Polling officers get training on electronic voting machine ahead of JandK Assembly polls

Poonch, Nov 12 (ANI): Around 1000 polling officers were given hands-on training on the electronic voting machine (EVM) ahead of the assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir. The Election Commission of India has already announced the dates for assembly elections in Kashmir. The polls will be held in five-phases, beginning on November 25 and ending on December 20. The counting of votes will take place on December 23. Nodal officer and district election trainer, Vijay Puri said the polling officers were asked to conduct free and fair elections.
