Fadnavis calls Mumbai marathon a festival to celebrate spirit of freedom

Mumbai, Jan 18 (ANI): The 2015 edition of the Mumbai Marathon started on Sunday in which around 40,000 people took part. The marathon started at 5:40 am. This year's edition of the marathon will both start and finish at the Azad Maidan sports ground in South Mumbai. The marathon will bring together thousands of long-distance runners, senior citizens, physically challenged participants and amateur runners. Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Sunday said that the Mumbai marathon which takes place every year is a festival where people celebrate the spirit of freedom. Industrialists say India marching with vision to become global power

Gandhinagar, Jan 11 (ANI): Indian industrialists on Sunday said that the country was moving ahead with a vision of elevating its status and role in global community and lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi initiatives and boost investments in Gujarat. World leaders and delegates had gathered at investment summit, 'Vibrant Gujarat', promoted by Modi and held in the city of Gandhinagar. Mukesh Ambani, India's richest man with a fortune estimated at $19.7 billion, praised Modi's leadership. Ambani said his Reliance Industries conglomerate would invest 1 trillion rupees ($16 billion) in Gujarat over the next 12 to 18 months.
