Sheila Dikshit assures onion prices to come down soon

New Delhi, Oct 24 (ANI): In the wake of rising prices of onion, Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit after meeting Agriculture Minister Sharad Pawar and Food Minister KV Thomas on Thursday assures that the prices of onions will come down soon enough. Dikshit confirmed that the onions are coming in better quantity now which will ease the prices. She also said that the government will appeal to the Election Commission to allow restarting of the government vans and other things so that the prices can be subsidized. Dikshit finally said that the government is trying its level best to control the prices and there will be a positive response coming soon. Oct 24, 2013
