Worlds largest marine park to be created in Antarctica

A deal brokered by 24 countries to allow the creation of a massive 600,000 sq mile marine sanctuary in the Antarctic ocean. The sanctuary will cover more than 12% of the Southern Ocean, which is home to more than 10,000 species including most of the worlds penguins, whales, seabirds, colossal squid and Antarctic tooth fish. Worlds saddest polar bear showing signs on mental decline

Pizza, dubbed the worlds saddest polar bear is showing signs of worsening mental state, according to animal rights group Humane Society International. The polar bear lives in a aquarium at Grandview Malls animal exhibit and has started swaying his head and pacing repetitively. The organisations says this is signs of frustration and mental health decline. The Yorkshire Wildlife Park in Doncaster, England, has offered a 10 acre home for Pizza on the condition that the Grandview Mall not replace the bear with “another polar bear or any similar-sized animal.” The HSI said the Chinese authorities have turned down the offer.
