Kathmandu, Aug 04 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday met Communist Party of Nepal-Unified Marxist Leninist (CPM-UML) Chairman KP Oli while on his two day visit to the neighbouring nation. Modi also met Unified Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal as his visit in Nepal ends today. As his last few meetings, Modi also met leaders of Madhesi parties in Nepal and had conversations with them. Modi had earlier in the day offered prayers at Pashupatinath Temple and later tweeted saying, _Felt extremely blessed on offering prayers at the Pashupatinath Temple this morning_. Srinagar, Aug 02 (ANI): Shops remained closed and vehicles were off the road in Srinagar city on Saturday, as separatist leader Syed Ali Geelani gave a call for complete shutdown in Jammu and Kashmir to protest declaration of Hindu pilgrimage to a revered temple. Security personnel were patrolling the streets to prevent any untoward incident. Ujjain/ Varanasi, June 28 (ANI): Thousands of devout Hindus thronged Lord Shiva temples across India to offer special prayers in celebration of the auspicious third Monday of the month- long 'Sawan '(Monsoon) festival. Jammu/ Saharanpur, July 27 (ANI): Condemning violence in UP, Sikhs protesters in Jammu on Sunday took to streets terming Saharanpur communal clashes as a conspiracy against minorities. They protested against the violence that erupted in Saharanpur district of Uttar Pradesh in which three people were killed and over 24 got injured when two groups clashed over a disputed land adjoining Sikh temple. Police have arrested 24 people who were reportedly involved in fuelling the violence.
