No need to panic about swine flu, says JP Nadda

Lucknow, Feb 20 (ANI): Union Health Minister Jagat Prakash Nadda said on Friday that there is no need to panic about swine flu and that there is an adequate stock of medicines to deal with the pandemic. He added swine flu medicines were being sold by registered stores only but that did not mean there was a scarcity of the cure. Nadda also stressed on the need for personal hygiene and building up immunity to tackle the disease which spreads more in winters. Hospitals equipped to deal with swine flu rush, says Health Minister

Bengaluru/ Kangra/Allahabad, Feb 19 (ANI): Union Health Minister Jagat Prakash Nadda said that hospitals in the country were well equipped to deal with swine flu cases. India has seen a sharp rise in the number of swine flu deaths and reported cases this year, prompting officials to investigate the cause and step up efforts to combat the virus. Meanwhile, one more person succumbed to swine flu in Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh.
