New Delhi, July 11 (ANI): BJP leader Rajiv Pratap Rudy on Friday said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi getting an invitation from the US Government and President Barack Obama in particular is a step in the right direction, adding that India has always wanted good relations with the United States. US Deputy Secretary of State William Burns delivered a letter from President Obama to Prime Minister Narendra Modi inviting him to USA. In his letter, President Obama reiterated his invitation to Prime Minister Modi to visit Washington in September and said he was looking forward to working closely with Prime Minister Modi to make India-US relations a defining partnership for the 21st Century. US Deputy Secretary of State meets PM Narendra Modi over diplomatic ties

New Delhi, July 11 (ANI): US Deputy Secretary of State, William J Burns, met with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday in New Delhi to strengthen diplomatic ties. Earlier, Burns had met Finance Minister Arun Jaitley and said that Barack Obama looks forward to Indian PM Modi’s visit to the White House in September for a spur in economic growth. Burns arrived in India ahead of the US-India Strategic Dialogue as US Secretary of State John Kerry is scheduled to visit India on July 31.
