TMC stages protest outside Parliament over black money issue

New Delhi, March 02 (ANI): TMC leaders yet again came out in protest against the NDA government over black money issue. The party workers carrying a black basket as prop, staged protest against the government outside the Parliament. Shouting anti government slogans with banners reading 'Bring back black money', the party leaders slammed the centre for just making speeches and not acting on the same. Meanwhile, Environment Minister Prakash Javadekar said that the TMC should first answer on the Saradha scam before protesting over black money. J and K governor administers oath to state cabinet ministers

Jammu, March 01 (ANI): Jammu and Kashmir's cabinet ministers were administered oath on Sunday by JandK Governor NN Vohra at Zorawar Singh Auditorium in Jammu University. Thirteeen MLAs of PDP and twelve MLAs of BJP took oath after Mufti Mohammad Sayeed was sworn in as the 12th Chief Minister of JandK with support from the BJP. Meanwhile, PM Narendra Modi congratulated Mufti Mohammad Sayeed on becoming the Chief Minister of JandK. BJP leader Nirmal Singh took oath as the Deputy Chief Minister of the state. Abdul Rehman Bhat, Chandra Prakash, Javed Mustafa Mir, Chaudhari Lal Singh, Bali Bhagat, Syed Basharat Ahmed Bukhari, Sukhnandan Kumar, Chaudhary Zulfikar Ali, Sajjad Lone, Haseeb Drabu, Ghulam Nabi Lone, Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari and Naeem Akhtar were administered oath of office. Union Ministers welcome General Budget

New Delhi, Feb 28 (ANI): Cabinet ministers reacted as Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley concluded the General Budget for 2015-16 in the Lok Sabha on Saturday. Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi said that the budget will see long impending impacts. Environment Minister Prakash Javadekar said that it is a welcome budget as it has much in store for the common man. Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu said that Jaitley has given an appropriate budget keeping in mind the well-being of all citizens. Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari said that first time in history the budget has given emphasis on infrastructure. HRD Minister Smriti Irani said that the budget has given importance to education and girl child, which is appreciable.
