New Delhi, May 27 (ANI): Pakistan's Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Tuesday paid a visit to Jama Masjid in New Delhi after witnessing Narendra Modi's anointment as India's 15th Prime Minister yesterday. Sharif offered prayers at the Jama masjid and met the Shahi imam Syed Ahmed Bukhari, ahead of his meeting with Prime Minister Modi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is all set to meet Nawaz Sharif and other SAARC leaders today The meeting has generated a huge interest as this is the first time that a Pakistani head of state has witnessed the swearing-in ceremony of an Indian Prime Minister. Narendra Modi takes charge as Prime Minister of India

New Delhi, May 27 (ANI): A day after Narendra Modi took oath as the 15th prime minister of India, he took charge at the PMO. After taking oath with his compact cabinet of 45 ministers, that included 23 Cabinet ministers, 10 ministers of state with independent charge and 12 other ministers of state, started his inning at the PMO on Tuesday. Apart from from Modi, some other ministers of his Cabinet, like Sushma Swaraj and Arun Jaitley also took charge of their respective offices. After taking charge, Modi visited Hyderabad House accompanied by Sushma Swaraj. The Prime Minister is also scheduled to meet his Pakistani counterpart Nawaz Sharif and other leaders from the SAARC countries in one of his first engagements after taking charge at around 11:45 AM.
