Ramgarh, Feb 04 (ANI): Maoists set ablaze vehicles in Jharkhand instilling fear among the villagers, while the driver of the burnt trucks claimed that rebels were armed. Around 15 to 20 armed rebels attacked the drivers and set their vehicles on fire in Ramgarh district. A driver, Mahesh Bediya said that the incident took place at 3.00 AM. Manipur, Jan 31 (ANI): A four-day long state level Krishi Mela was recently organised by the Agricultural Technology Management Agency in collaboration with the State Agriculture Department at the Iboyaima Shumang Leela Shanglen in Imphal. Addressing the event, Deputy Chief Minister Gaikhangam stressed on the need for the introduction of modern agriculture techniques. Around 37 stalls from concerned departments and progressive farmers showcased their products and achievements. Technical sessions for farmers were also conducted as part of the fair. In the last five to six years, the directorate of Agriculture along with the horticulture Department, Fisheries directorate, Veterinary and Animal Husbandry directorate has been trying to boost production in the state to meet the food demands. Odisha, Jan 10 (ANI): Suspected Maoists in Koraput district of Odisha killed two farmers after an alleged civil dispute. The farmers were attacked at their paddy threshing field in Bagem village about 3 kms from Narayanpatna block. The bodies of Siba Habika (60) and Linga Habika (30) were found with their throats slit.
