Delhi, Jan 25 (ANI): Former Indian Ambassador to US, Naresh Chandra on Saturday said that the relations between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and US President Barack Obama will prove to be beneficial for both the nations. Talking about a probable nuclear deal between the two countries, Kumar said that there are issues when it comes to such strategic deals and that laws cannot be changed to facilitate the deals. Japan provides human resource training in nuclear power generation

Hanoi/ Japan, Jan 20 (ANI): In order to meet the rapid growth in electricity demand driven by a growing economy and expanding industrial base, Vietnam has decided to introduce nuclear energy. A developing country with a population of 92.5 million, Vietnam has selected Japan as its partner. The government issued a master plan specifying the project of building nuclear power plants, as the first time in Vietnam and South East Asia. Electric Power University (EPU) in Hanoi, is one of the six universities in Vietnam that are authorized to provide human resource training in nuclear power generation. The University has opened the Department of Nuclear Power in 2010 where students are learning basic knowledge required for nuclear power generation. Mitsubishi Heavy Industries is one of the first partners which effectively cooperates and supports Electric Power University and provide nuclear engineering lecture. Recently, "Cool Japan lounge" exhibition was held at AEON Mall Binh Duon Canary in Vietnam by Japan's Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, as a part of "Cool Japan World Trial" initiatives. Amritsar, Jan 21 (ANI): The former foreign minister of Pakistan, Khurshid Mahmud Kasuri rooted for peace between his country and India. Tensions have risen between the two countries since Prime Minister Narendra Modi called off peace talks with Pakistan in 2014 August. Sporadic rounds of heavy shelling have pounded villages along a previously peaceful stretch of border in Kashmir. Kasuri said that a peaceful environment was vital for development of the nuclear-armed nations.
