India's first amputee trekker climbs Kilimanjaro, after scaling Mount Everest

New Delhi, May 16 (ANI): India's first woman amputee conquered Mount Kilimanjaro after scaling the Mount Everest. Arunima Sinha, the national level volleyball player, the girl who lost a leg in battling snatchers had earlier climbed the world's highest mountain peak, Mount Everest on May 21, 2013 with a prosthetic leg. While addressing a news conference on Thursday (May 15) in New Delhi, Sinha said that the disability is all in the mind. Sinha said her family has been her backbone which has given her moral support and has encouraged her to follow her dreams of climbing the world's highest summit. The Seven Summits which have been climbed by few are composed of each of the highest mountain peaks of each of the seven continents and these are Kilimanjaro, Denali, Elbrus, Aconcagua, Carstensz Pyramid, Vinson and Mount Everest.
