Tokyo, Feb 10 (ANI): Alps Electric, which has its headquarters in Tokyo, supplies about 40,000 types of electronic parts to more than 2,000 manufacturer companies worldwide. The company has been expanding their bases in overseas regions in order to supply their products and services quickly to the customers. Alps forayed in Malaysia in the late 1989 with paid up capital of US$13.63 million. The company has been actively expanding its manufacturing and sales offices in ASEAN regions, including Thailand, India and Indonesia for over 25 years. Additionally, they opened a new office in Hanoi, Vietnam, last year, as their sales subsidiary of Alps Malaysia. At Nilai plant, Alps Malaysia has been manufacturing automotive parts such as clock spring, sensors for car steering, power window switches, motorcycle sensors and electronic components for home electronics. Re-polling in two constituencies of Delhi

New Delhi, Feb 09 (ANI): A day before Delhi assembly election results, residents in two constituencies of the national capital had to vote again on Monday due to fault in Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs). As per media reports, voters in Delhi Cantonment and Rohtas Nagar constituencies were notified about re-polling on Sunday, after election officials found that EVMs still contained the mock votes, which were polled to check the machines. The government has declared a paid holiday in both the constituencies. However, few voters faced inconvenience and said there were no proper arrangements to keep their phones and belongings. Delhi Elections: Polling underway for 70 assembly seats

New Delhi, Feb 07 (ANI): Voting for 70 Assembly seats began on Saturday morning in the national capital. Over 1.33 crore voters will seal the fate of 673 candidates in the fray for the Delhi Assembly elections. Polling is taking place at 12,177 polling stations, of which 714 have been identified as "critical" and 191 have been identified as "highly critical". The number of women candidates has lowered to 63 in this election as against 71 in 2013 elections. 16,000 control and units 20,000 ballot units are being used for polling. As for security inside polling booths, 1,200 micro observers are keeping an eye over the entire procedure. Seventy 'strong rooms' have been set up in 14 locations in the national capital to store the electronic voting machines after the polling is over. Feb 7, 2015
